Crispy Oven Baked French Fries

Lets get right to it. I truthfully can't stand when I am reading recipes with long story before it, and I have to scroll to the very bottom for the recipe, anyone else with me?

So lets do it.

Estimated Time: 30-35 minutes

Ingredients

3 Tbsp of Olive Oil

5 large Potatoes

1 1/2 tsp of Salt

1 1/2 tsp of Garlic Powder

1 1/2 tsp of Dill Weed

1 1/2 tsp of Onion Powder

2 tsp of Black Pepper

1. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F. Prepare a rack at the lower level of your oven. Take out a large baking dish and sprinkle 1 Tbsp of olive oil over the pan.

3. Scrub the potatoes, and then cut them in half then in half again. They should look like wedges. If they are still to big feel free to cut them again, long ways.

4. Fill up a large bull of hot tap water and place your potatoes in the bowl and let sit for 10 minutes.

5. Once the ten minutes is up, drain your potatoes and pat dry with paper towel. Place back into a large bowl.

6. Drizzle the 2 Tbsp. of olive oil and mix, making sure its spread evenly. Now you can sprinkle your salt, garlic powder, dill weed, onion powder and black pepper. Then Mix to ensure seasoning is applied evenly.

7. Spread the potatoes evenly over the prepared baking sheet. The trick is to make sure each fry is on the baking sheet and not on top of each other. We want them to be nice and crispy.

8. Let bake on the bottom level of the oven for 18-25 minutes, until golden brown. Take out of the oven and flip them over on the other side and place back into the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes.

9. Take out once they are golden brown, and add your desired toppings. (Chives, sea salt, etc)

These fries can be paired with my bacon bleu burger, or any other sandwich.

Enjoy!

Jenna
